Bodyweight training is very effective. This video is an extreme example of what can be done with bodyweight training. Needless to say, most people can’t do most of these exercises. Simple push-ups, chair dips, sit-ups, and a variety of other exercises are all that’s needed to get your heart rate up. My favorite exercise is the Burpee. That exercise works almost all the muscles in your body, plus if you are doing consecutive Burpee’s it’s a cardiovascular workout as well. All you need is a little imagination and the willingness to work out.
Exercise alone will not get your to you ideal bodyweight. It has to be done in conjunction with proper diet. In truth, diet makes more difference than exercise. The science is very complicated but I will be going over it in many posts in the future.
